"Whenever someone stands out from the crowd, they can expect the criticism, yet Creator knew this. and as the pages of life go by, no one ever remembers the critics. They only remember the deeds of gracious giving, and the loving hearts that showed the courage to live for "Love & Compassion..." For they were the ones that gave of a most precious gift of all, the gift of self.
Clarissa Pinkola Estes Ph.D.
From: Lysander Pixie Stevenson
A few lines from one of my songs hints at the medicine, the drink of cool water in the desert, that you have so lovingly offered us:
.........so thank Goddess for Clarissa
what a blessing indeed
like a sweet mango for the soul
and a sharp sword for the spirit
and a hearty laugh at the end of it all..............
This book is the bible.
Reading Clarissa's works has changed my life forever , I am no longer afraid to understand and accept the female part of myself....although it will always remain a mystery to me... Clarissa has a message about these times of EMERGENCE, " We were made for these times..."
