Trishuwa is an Earth keeper and
Metis of Irish and Cherokee lineage. Born into a family of social activists
involved in the first efforts to unionize the railroads, she lived for many
years as young child near San Juan Pueblo in New Mexico. Her first ceremonial
experiences were with the San Juan Pueblo people who live 25 Miles north of
Santa Fe on the Rio Grande.
